Popular 70’s British sitcom Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em will make a highly anticipated return to our TV screens this March.

The hit show was last on our screens in 1978, but now legendary actor Michael Crawford, 74, will reprise his role as the lovable but accident prone Frank Spencer, in a one off special for Sport Relief.

Michele Dotrice who plays Frank’s long suffering wife Betty, in the sitcom will also reprise her role for the comedy sketch.

The Sport Relief special of Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em is set to make Britain laugh again, as the hapless Frank Spencer, who’s famous catchphrase is ‘Ooh Betty’, gets into his usual scrapes which will culminate in a run-in with Tour De France champion cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins at the cycling centre in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

Speaking about his return as Frank for the sketch, Michael Crawford said: “I am thrilled and delighted to have been asked to bring Frank back for Sport Relief.”

Sir Bradley Wiggins added: “I am a huge fan of Michael so it is an absolute honour to be asked to be involved alongside such an icon of British television … and all for a great cause!”.
