We have a brand new single from Kacy Moon, titled “Cherry On Top”. The track was released yesterday and is the official follow-up track to “What Do I Do“. The song shows off her versatility as a singer-songwriter.
Kacy Moon, whose full name is Kacy Mooneyham, is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter who has been working hard on her career recently. She released her debut single in January 2018, titled “Guarded” which she then followed that up with “What Do I Do” back in June. You won’t want to mess with her either, as at the age of five she got into karate – where her love of performing came from – and she went on to be on one of the most sought out karate teams in the world, Mike Chat’s team XMA – alongside actor Taylor Lautner. Before music, she did a bit of acting, but now she’s focusing on music entirely.
This new song is one we’ve had on repeat for some time now. It’s rhythmic throughout that certainly works perfect as the follow-up to “What Do I Do“. As for the vocals, Kacy Moon impresses bringing passion and emotion as she truly gets into the song. She tells a story about a lover who she wants support from, who believes in her and she’s not quite getting it.
