General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one ABC soap star has confirmed her exit. You’ve probably heard by now that Tamara Braun is set to leave the role of Kim Nero, and it’s becoming pretty clear on screen as well. However, Braun wanted to let everyone know that she’s indeed leaving and offer her gratitude to supportive fans.
On Instagram, Braun posted a sweet message to thank everyone. She said, “Want to see Kim Nero one last time? Tune in today to say goodbye. Thank you to all you wonderful people for your love and support. #GH #goodbye #love #support #fans #gratitude #smile #bekind”
Braun made her post on November 18, but it seems she was told that was her final airdate and didn’t adjust for the recent preemption. She’s still got one more episode left based on a recent preview video. That episode could be bumped due to ongoing impeachment hearings coverage, but the point is GH fans will indeed have one more opportunity to see Kim in Port Charles.
Braun also posted a fun pic, which featured her shrugging – as if to say this exit was just one of those things! Sometimes a character just doesn’t turn out to be someone fans can connect with. It’s certainly not Braun’s fault. The writing for Kim has been questionable at times, but Braun is a fantastic actress and an established soap vet. It’s too bad she wasn’t given better material to work with during her latest stint at General Hospital.
Many GH viewers reached out to Braun after she posted her message. “You are a great actress who was saddled with a bad character and a storyline that got worse each day,” one fan insisted on Twitter. “I hope your next role is worthy of your talent.”
